OmniSource, one of the largest Scrap Metal Processor/Broker in North America and largest volume recycler in Indiana, will be presenting a check for $5,000.00 to Gleaners Food Bank on Friday.

OmniSource’s partnership with Gleaners started in 2007 when the company raised money for the food bank to help replace food which was lost due to the copper theft that shut down the food bank’s freezers.

Again this year, OmniSource donated $.02 for every pound of aluminum cans brought in to its Indianapolis retail locations during the month of July. On Friday at 1pm, OmniSource’s Vice President of Ferrous Operations, Bob Brewer will present Gleaners’ President & CEO Pamela Altmeyer with a check for $5,000.00! The presentation will take place at Gleaners Bank at 1102 E. 16th Street, Indianapolis.
