On Thursday, July 23, 2009, NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 SNICKERS® ‘Bar Hunger’ Toyota made a pit stop at Gleaners Food Bank to make a special donation of 5,000 pounds of rice! Kyle signed autographs for fans and took a tour of the food bank.
SNICKERS® Brand, which has always satisfied hunger, teamed up with Feeding America to ‘Bar Hunger.’ As part of the ‘Bar Hunger’ campaign, SNICKERS has donated the equivalent of at least three million meals to Feeding America in 2009 (Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. is part of the Feeding America network).
