Gleaners operates at 83,000 square foot warehouse
which includes an 80,000 cubic foot freezer, 30,000 cubic foot cooler,
and 1,248 square foot fresh room. The food bank meets all food industry
standards for product handling, storages, warehouse sanitation,
and inventory control. All food distributed to user charities meets
strict federal and local health standards. The food bank is regularly
inspected by the Indiana State Board of Health, USDA, America's
Second Harvest and others.
