The Painting & Decorating Contractors of America collaborate to donate painting services to Gleaners Food Bank

Indianapolis, Indiana- July 11, 2011- The Indianapolis chapter of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) recently organized & executed a unique collaborative volunteer service project to support Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. In this joint partnership, six different area painting companies worked together to repaint the interior offices at the Gleaners Food Bank Rotary Club of Indianapolis Food Distribution Center.  With the donations secured by the PDCA, Gleaners Food Bank was able to continue to provide food for those in need rather than paying for much needed facilities updates.  Companies that participated in the project include Applied Coatings, Midwest Decorating Company, S&M Painting, Connor Fine Painting, Lester Painting, and Diversified Painting Company.
