Another Broken Egg Café launches $1 Coffee Friday Promotion
Promotion benefits Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana

A morning without coffee is unheard of—especially at Another Broken Egg Café. The southern style breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, Another Broken Egg Cafe is proud to present $1Coffee Friday promotion. Proceeds from the promotion will benefit Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.

The $1 Coffee Friday promotion will run every Friday throughout 2014. Guests will pay only $1 for coffee on Fridays (refills are free if dining in the restaurant). The cost of a cup of coffee at Another Broken Egg Café is $2.49; the proceeds will be donated to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. In addition to the discounted coffee, guests are encouraged to bring a canned food item to place in the Gleaners donation drop boxes located inside the restaurant. Another Broken Egg Café is conveniently located at 96th Street and North Meridian, and is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.

“With many families being challenged with difficult financial times, we recognize the increase of hungry families in our community,” says David Goloversic, General Manager of Another Broken Egg Café. “We’re honored to be supporting such a wonderful organization and look forward to raising money and awareness for Gleaners.”

Each week, Gleaners reaches tens of thousands of people who need emergency food assistance. They are the working poor, the unemployed, single parents and the elderly. They are homeless, the disabled, the mentally ill. They are battered women, victims of disaster, helpless children, family and friends. They are our neighbors.

In 2013, Gleaners distributed over 24 million pounds of food which is the equivalent of over 20 million meals. Gleaners also provides specialized programs for our most vulnerable populations, children and senior citizens.
