Join Gleaners Food Bank on Friday, May 13, 2016 for the third annual Wine, Women, & Shoes event at the Lucas Oil Estate. The event offers local women a chance to sip wine, savor gourmet treats, visit the exclusive fashion lounge, shop the latest shoe designs and fawn over the handsome Shoe Guys. All money raised goes to benefit the BackSacks Weekend Food for Kids program, which ensures kids have healthy meals all weekend long. Each BackSack has enough food for six meals that are easy enough for kids to fix themselves.
Enjoy an elegant afternoon of premium wine, an exclusive fashion lounge sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and bid on one-of-a-kind items during a silent auction. Stay tuned for the list of Shoe Guys and be sure to vote for your favorite, culled from local firefighters, sports figures and on-air TV personalities. The Shoe Guy who raises the most money will be deemed the “Sole Man.”
