COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Thank you for joining us at the 7th Annual Wine Women and Shoes event. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and we’re committed to providing a fun outdoor experience, all while raising critical funds to support our youth hunger-relief programs. Below you will find some additional information to help you prepare for your day with us.

If you have had any COVID-19 symptoms within 24 hours of the event, we ask that you do not attend Wine Women and Shoes this year.

Tell me about the event venue.

Wine Women and Shoes is held at the fabulous Lucas Estate. The event itself is completely outdoors with the exception of restrooms which are indoors.

The venue map has been adjusted this year to allow for more social distancing, with marketplace vendors located both on the tennis courts and patio and by the home.

Food and wine stations will also be located throughout the venue. This will allow you to sip, shop, and savor in the safest way possible.

The fashion show, sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and featuring the designs of international fashion designer Zang Toi, auction, and brief program will occur by the pool.

Hand sanitizer and masks will be available throughout the venue.

How will food and beverage service be handled this year?

We will be using disposable dishes and wine glasses this year. Recycling and trash bins will be located throughout the event to dispose of used containers.

Are masks required?

We encourage guests to follow the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Hamilton County Health Department. While masks are not required outdoors, we do ask you to be mindful of social distancing.

Is social distancing required?

Guests are encouraged to maintain physical distance out of respect for others and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Be particularly mindful in lines, by the pool, and when shopping with our marketplace vendors.

Please be aware that Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, the Lucas Estate, or our vendors may modify health and safety measures or requirements at any time based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the State Department of Health, or the Hamilton County Health Department.
