Our 2nd Annual RTV6 Hope-A-Thon was an amazing day. The stories shared and the gifts given were spectacular. Over $10,000 was donated to help fight hunger!
Two 10-year-old boys, who started the day as strangers, had their paths cross during the Hope-A-Thon and Indians game. They are from different parts of town and have two different stories, but are connected in a special way.
Ray’Sean (on the left) benefits from the BackSacks Program each Friday during the school year. A program that costs $5 each week to provide one BackSack to one student.
Mason (on the right) designs t-shirts, asks friends, family, and community members to purchase them, and donates all proceeds to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. In total, Mason has raised more than $1,500 in the past year to fight childhood hunger.
Both boys have the same goal… to end child hunger.
