Drive-thru Pantry

The drive-thru pantry at the Gleaners warehouse is one of the busiest food pantries in Marion County, distributing thousands of meals to neighbors each day it’s open.

Agency Partners

A committed network of more than 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, and community partners provides more than 31 million meals annually to hungry Hoosiers throughout our 21-county service area.

CARE Program

The Community Action Relief Effort (CARE) Program began in 2014 in partnership with Indianapolis public safety departments after a review of public safety and quality of life in the city found a connection between hunger and crime.

Mobile Pantries

Low-income families are often faced with the difficulty of gaining access to resources in their communities. Gleaners Mobile Pantries were created to address this issue.

Nutrition Outreach

Good nutrition is a key factor in helping children develop and learn properly, ensuring adults succeed in the workplace, and empowering all individuals to maintain optimal health.

Senior Hunger Initiative

Senior citizens have unique nutritional needs and often have mobility issues. Today, there are often multiple generations in the home. Mobile pantries and Senior Shopping Days offer additional assistance to those in need.

SNAP Outreach

Many people who could benefit from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) don’t know they are eligible. Gleaners offers assistance to those in need.

Youth Programs

One in six Hoosier children is food insecure – nearly 100,000 children in our 21-county service area. Multiple programs offer area children the best chance at success by helping to meet their nutritional needs.
