We are proud to share Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana President and CEO, Fred Glass, has made IBJ Media’s list of 250 most influential business leaders for 2024.
“It’s hard to choose just 250 people from among the thousands who work every day to make Indiana a better place to live and to work,” IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman said of the nominees. “But we believe the people on the Indiana 250 list are especially worthy of distinction. They are thinking big and driving change.”
The IBJ Indiana 250 recognizes business and community leaders who are making impactful contributions to the state of Indiana. Fred joins a list of nearly 70 new people recognized for their passion and service this year.
Fred was recognized for implementing a new strategic vision at Gleaners that puts poverty alleviation practices at the forefront of our food bank work.
IBJ also noted Fred’s previous experience as chief of staff to Indiana Gov. Evan Bayh, how he led negotiations to keep the Colts in Indianapolis as president of the Capital Improvement Board, developed Lucas Oil Stadium, and expanded the Indiana Convention Center. Additionally, IBJ acknowledged Fred’s time as vice president and athletic director for his alma mater, Indiana University, from 2009 to 2020.
Congratulations, Fred! You can get a look at his full profile here.
