Colts defensive end Kwity Paye paid a special visit to Gleaners in partnership with Campbell’s and the Chunky Sacks Hunger community program.

Paye was one of 10 NFL defensive standouts chosen to be on the Soup Squad, serving as a representative for the Campbell’s campaign. During his visit, Paye and other volunteers packed enough boxes to make 2,500 meals for hungry Hoosiers.
The Chunky Sacks Hunger campaign is an effort to donate more than 2 million meals to help fight food insecurity. For every Campbell’s Chunky Bowl sold during this NFL regular season, the campaign will donate one meal to Feeding America. Gleaners is one of hundreds of food banks in the nationwide Feeding America network.
In fiscal year 2023, Gleaners and its network of agencies — more than 230 food pantries, soup kitchens and community partners — distributed nearly 60 million pounds of food across a 21-county area.
