The Season of Giving is in full swing, which means a variety of ways to help us in the fight against food insecurity over the holiday season.
Giving Tuesday marked another successful day of Pack the Pantries with Fox 59 and CBS 4. In a single day, donors gave more than $90,000 for Gleaners and Midwest Food Bank. It was the second-biggest Pack the Pantries effort since June 2020. President & CEO Fred Glass appeared on Fox 59 for a live interview about the immense need Gleaners has seen firsthand in central and southeastern Indiana. Watch the interview below:
The Newfields Giving Machines officially opened on Giving Tuesday. Visitors can donate to Gleaners at the Giving Machines through Jan. 7, 2023. There are additional machines outside the Jos. A. Bank store at Clay Terrace in Carmel.
